StreamOn have recently produced a DVD which features individuals pursuing successful careers in the retail sector in Northern Ireland, focussing on the differing progression route ways they have followed to enhance their skills and develop their career. This project was commissioned by SkillSmart Retail, the sector skills council for Retail.
The objective of the project was to provide relevant, appealing and accessible information for young people considering their careers options in Schools and Colleges in Northern Ireland.
StreamOn delivered a 20 minute video that featured interviews with employees from;
- House of Fraser
- Ikea
- Tesco
- Homebase
- Henderson Retail
- Menarys
SkillSmart Retail provided an outstanding reference for StreamOn in their project evaluation.
"StreamOn have been an excellent choice of media partner – not only did they bring the project in exactly on budget, but they supported the project management of the film creation process in an extremely professional manner. Their guidance was invaluable throughout.
All participants reported that the filming process was extremely relaxed and friendly and that the film crew were quick to make what could have been a very nerve wracking experience enjoyable and fun. The Film crew and Director were also extremely aware that they were filming in a live store environment, and were respectful to the fact that the process should be as unobtrusive as possible. In fact, all the stores that acted as live locations, seemed to benefit from the experience, as the filming was a real point of interest for customers – some of whom even volunteered as “extras”
In terms of quality of output, Skillsmart Retail is extremely satisfied that all our expectations were surpassed. A high quality product was produced, in an efficient and well managed manner, on time and within budget. We would not hesitate to recommend StreamOn to others."
